About Sue Halstenberg
Sue Halstenberg has lived in Southern California her entire life. She studied Art History at UC San Diego before earning her Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree from the Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, where she studied under many accomplished artists. Sue started her career as a department store fashion illustrator with her drawings continuously appearing in the Los Angeles Times for over seven years. She later attended workshops at Scottsdale Artist's School where she was most influenced by the outdoor figure painting class of George Carlson. Hi, in Hindu tradition pictures of Deities are sacred as Deities themself, they are NEVER to be stepped upon. Its really unfortunate to see this trend in the west with yoga mats. If we import things from other cultures we should know proper way of conduct, not just do as we please. It carries karmic consequence and sets bad example for people who are uneducated.
